Edwardian American Black Glass Toothpick Holder

Edwardian American pressed black glass toothpick holder, a souvenir from Shenandoah Valley, 1903. Shenandoah Valley is located in the western part of Virginia and the eastern panhandle of West Virginia. This region is best known for its natural beauty and Civil War history. On the front of the toothpick holder in gilt is "Souvenir Shenandoah Valley 1903", with a hobnail cut pattern in circles with a peaked edge to the top and daisy wheel design on the base.
